Democratic Representatives Support Our President!

For the past few months, President Obama addressed the American job situation by introducing the American Jobs Act, and initiated Executive Orders to help with mortgage refinancing, job opportunities for veterans, and student loans, just to name a few. While the President has been traveling across the country, speaking to crowds explaining his efforts to help the middle class, the Republican Party leaders like Eric Cantor (Virginia) and John Boehner (Ohio) have lambasted the President. They want to focus on making him a one-term president. Unfortunately, the Republicans’ bad behavior seems to go unchecked by the Democratic House members. There is scant evidence of them backstopping the President’s initiatives. We the undersigned call on these members to come to the President’s defense and support his moves to help those in need in visible and aggressive ways. In short, Democrats in the House…we expect you to get off the sidelines, and express your support of the President.

Why is this important?
President Obama is working diligently to address unemployment, housing foreclosures, and the burdens of student loans. He cannot do this alone. He needs aggressive and vigorous support from Congress. This is a petition asking members of Democratic Party Representatives in the House to speak out in support of the President's initiatives.
