Why is this important?
Having access to a reliable and affordable broadband Internet service is an imperative if we want America to stay competitive. However, broadband internet services are dominated and controlled by four big Telecom companies, making it hard for people to obtain high-speed/broadband internet services at reasonable prices.
Keeping America at the top of its game should be our top priority, therefore the "Big Four" telecom companies should be forced to create a real open market where competition, and not a perfect duopoly, dictates the price and speed of our internet.
