Please add your name as co-sponsor and work to improve the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014. The right to vote is one of the most important attributes of U.S. citizenship.
Why is this important?
The Voting Rights Act has been substantially undermined by recent Supreme Court decisions and subsequent state actions. The Voting Rights Amendment Act aims to remedy these injustices. Washington State can be proud of its history in promoting women's right to vote and sending effective women to Congress. Let us be counted among those who also promote the protection of voting rights for all citizens.
