Forrest City, AR, is named after Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, despite his having no ties to Arkansas. Seeing as how he was the founder of the KKK, it's time to move on past pretending like the name is not a nod to racism and bigotry.
Why is this important?
There is literally no reason whatsoever to have a town in Arkansas named after the founder of the KKK. None. The "heritage, not hate" crowd can take their bigotry somewhere else.
