We, the undersigned, wish to voice our strong opposition to the possible parole of Russell Franklin Stone (H-00697) who was convicted of Second Degree Murder of his wife, Dr. Deborah Saiki, and sentenced to a term of 16 years to life.
He has shown a callous disregard of human life, and has never taken responsibility for his actions. He continues to be a danger to society and in the fairness to the family of Deborah, we want him to serve his maximum life sentence.
Why is this important?
My aunt Deborah, an optometrist, was stabbed to death when I was six, by her husband, Russell Franklin Stone. Her irreplaceable loss has affected me and my family for the past 26 years, and once again, her murderer is up for early parole.
Russell has never taken responsibility or apologized for his actions, and to add insult to injury, has taken up optometry in prison, a direct insult to my aunt and her memory. Please join me in signing this petition to help keep this monster in prison.
