He has not committed any crimes that would make his deportation a high priority. He is only guilty of wanting to make a better life for his family. A hard-working husband and father of U.S. citizens who has no criminal record should not be deported.
Why is this important?
I am their priest and pastor. Rene, Julieta and their children attend my church. I baptized baby Pamela last year (I am an Episcopal priest). I have been in their well-kept and warm home to pray and share food, and to bless their home. Rene is a very active volunteer in the community, helping people dealing with addictions. He deserves a chance.
