President Trump fired Director James Comey, the man in charge of the FBI investigation into the possibility of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian interference in our 2016 Presidential election. This action threatens the possibility of any impartial conclusion to the investigation. We need a special prosecutor appointed immediately.
Why is this important?
I am outraged that President Trump has now fired the three people in the best position to carry out a frank, impartial investigation of his potential collusion in Russia's actions to help him win the Presidency. Mr. Trump's actions show a total disregard of the rule of law and merit not only a Special Prosecutor but also his immediate impeachment.
