it's time for Democracy. Using tax initiatives and job growth, develop an economy that is worker owned andor community owned, developing healthy initiatives including clean energy (such as solar and wind), universal health care, high quality public education, social services, local organic farming, literature, public news sources,crafts and artistic endeavors and other worker friendly, environmentally friendly, affordable and economically sustainable small businesses. End the stranglehood of Wall Street and huge corporations that are destroying life on Earth.
Why is this important?
We need to become resilient and pro-active. A new economy, based on citizen/worker/community/consumer owned local initiatives that meet the needs of our people, localities and environment is a must if we ever hope to improve our lives.
