We ask that we establish a true democracy in the United States by abolishing the Electoral College and electing the President of the United States by a direct vote. Whoever receives the most votes in the United States should be the President.
Why is this important?
It is time we made our democracy more dynamic and meaningful. The
President of the United States should be elected by a direct vote. Whoever gets the most total votes in the country should be President. There is no need for an electoral college.
