Direct Democracy - Virginia Needs Initiative

The legislature and executive branch of Virginia have been controlled by special interests and political parties for too long. The people of Virginia need an option to speak for themselves. We propose that a constitutional amendment be enacted in Virginia for an indirect initiative petition process.

Why is this important?

Allowing the residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia to propose legislation that politicians will not. If enacted, an indirect initiative would be first referred to the legislature, and then put to a popular vote only if not enacted by the legislature.
