Disc Golf in P.E. classes

Columbia, MO teachers have taught introduction to disc golf classes for a number of years. Please help support this cause by encouraging local officials to aid our teachers in their desire to utilize the economic advantages of disc golf as a way to bring the benefits of golfing to our public schools children and adolescents. Having more permanent disc golf holes & courses in Columbia, MO that are near public school facilities and available for use as part of Health & Physical Education curriculum is the best way to translate a child's skills onto a competitive field. By signing this petition, I indicate that I support having more disc golf courses in Columbia, and encourage the Mayor and City Council members to consider developing three to nine hole courses at Bethel Park, Again Park, Philips Park, & Kiwanis Park. I also indicate that I support the development of 18 hole championship courses at the Strawn Property, Discovery Park, & Stephen's Lake Park. Lastly, I indicate that I support updating the existing courses at Albert Oakland Park and Indian Hills Park, so that all par considerations are professionally graded, and any safety standard is modernized.
