No more pledges to any person, organization, corporation, or political affiliation to stop elected officials from voting to represent their constituency. If you sign this petition you are supporting the elected or appointed official's ability to discredit any influencing factor that impedes his or her ability to act for the good of the American people. In essence, no one has the power to influence the value system of our elected officials. If an elected or appointed official is threatened or bribed by an outside entity, it should be reported to the FBI with immediate action. (This action also applies to anyone who has received campaign funds from any person, organization, company, or international organization or country. The elected official does not have to answer to anyone except him or herself.)
Why is this important?
This petition is about the problem in Congress and the Senate due to a pledge signed to Grover Norquist. By signing the pledge the majority of the party acted as obstructionists for four years and were not working for the good of the American people.
