Stop the barrage of airplane noise over residential areas at 5 am especially on Sundays. Roslindale is 11 miles from Logan and yet every 30 seconds another plane roars over our homes disrupting our daily lives, causing sleep deprivation, nerves shattered and inability to enjoy our own backyards or decks. Make them gain altitude over the water! PLEASE!
Why is this important?
We the residents of Roslindale, MA along with Dorchester, Roxbury and Jamaica Plain are victims of MassPort's bungling and the FAA's indifference to our plight. Airlines do not want to climb over the water because it uses more fuel yet climbing over residential areas starting at 5 am is perfectly acceptable as it doesn't cut into profits even though it negatively affects the quality of life for residents.
