Do not ban State licensed dispensaries in unincorporated Washington County
Subject: Do not pass a moratorium in Unincorporated Washington County
Good afternoon Comissioners,
Oregon passed HB3460 enabling licensing of Medical Marijuana Facilities in October. HB3460 allows the Oregon Health Authority to license Marijuana facilities March 3rd 2014. Our County Sheriff has taken it upon himself to see this as a threat and is trying to place bans on a prescribed medication being dispensed to patients through these facilities. Please do not give anyone the right to ban where medication can be dispersed.
This is why I signed a petition to The Washington County Commissioners, which says:
Please do not ban our "State Authorized Patient Resource Facility" in Aloha Oregon. We deserve safe access in our community where we vote and pay taxes.
Thanks!

Why is this important?
We are facing an unincorporated Washington County Ban brought to the commissioners by Washington County Sheriff Pat Garrett.
He is targeting our facility in Aloha.
Last week the Wa Co planning commission rejected the proposed moratorium with a 6 to 3 vote.
This week the Sheriff has emailed thousands and thousands of folks in Washington County to try and gain support.
We need your support now for Tuesdays battle against this moratorium.
Please do not let the County deny access to Dr recommended medication. This decision is made between a doctor and a patient. Not a Sheriff. 4300 card holders in this County deserve the right to their State approved medication.
Thank you in advance for reading and signing our petition.
