President Trump has called for the elimination of the National Endowment for the Arts in his Budget message to Congress. The House and Senate must not allow this to pass; and we must also make sure that a clear message is sent from our State Governments.
Why is this important?
The National Endowment for the Arts and its corresponding National Public Radio and Public Broadcast System have been an essential part of our culture ; enriching the lives of all in this country , bringing this into the living rooms of all America. President Trump's Budget that cuts all funding cannot be allowed and must be voted against in both the House and the Senate- and as I have done in naming my state- we must also send the message to all our State Governments to make sure that the fight is carried locally and the message is sent to Washington DC.
