On Oct 17, 2018, Rick Perlstein called Ald. Patrick O'Connor (Ward 40) "a racist troll" for his attacks on Ugo Okere during a candidate forum the previous day.
While Chicago City Council should replace Ald. Ed Burke as chair of the Finance Committee, the replacement should NOT be O'Connor.

After Ald. Ed Burke was indicted for corruption, he stepped down as chair of the City of Chicago Finance Committee.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel wants Ald. Patrick O'Connor to replace Burke.
