Do not rescind the wilderness refuge rule

H.J. Resolution 69 passed the House and is now heading to the Senate to remove protections for wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, coyotes and other animals that live in wildlife refuges. If this law passes then extreme hunting practices such as leg traps, gassing, aerial shooting from helicopters, and poisoning will be allowed on wildlife refuges such as in Alaska. Mother bears with pups and wolves will be targeted mercilessly.

Why is this important?

A wildlife refuge should be exactly that.....a refuge. No barbaric, cruel extermination methods such as aerial gunning, poison, and gassing should be allowed in these protected areas to appease game hunters.
