Do sewer plants add pollution to our water?

The State water quality standards are generally known to be antiquated and need to be updated to test for newly emerging germs that are contaminating our water.

The State of California should fund a respectable, independent, non-politically, non-govermnmental lab to test water quality for newly emerging germs and the results should be transparent to the public. If the research documents a possible future danger, the State should take rapid action, accordingly.

Why is this important?

Provide monies to a respectable, non-politically influenced, non-governmental laboratory to scientifically research the possibility of a threat to Public Health.
The scientific literature demonstrates that the increased failure of antibiotics due to germs found in the water supply indicate such a possible threat to Public health.
