Why is this important?
The climate crisis threatens all life on the planet in the very near future, certainly within the next 50 years. We are already seeing massive melting of glaciers, serious warming of the arctic regions, acidification of the oceans, rising ocean levels, losses of species and increased frequency and strength of storms.
