Donald Trump must release his tax returns or we won't file ours
It is vital that the press, the public, and our elected representatives be able to examine President-Elect Donald Trump’s tax returns in order to identify financial conflicts of interest and his entanglements with foreign governments and national and international corporations and banks. Therefore, those who sign this petition pledge NOT to file their own tax returns for 2016 until Donald Trump releases his tax returns for at least 2015.
Why is this important?
Our president is supposed to work for all the American people. Unless we know details about Donald Trump's business interests, debt obligations, and financial ties both national and international, we will not know whether his policies and decisions as president serve the nation or his own interests.
