Donald Trump: Suspend your Presidential Campaign
Donald Trump: your vitriol and hate against refugees and Muslims as a group cannot and will not stand. Every day your campaign is endangering the lives of American citizens. First, you endanger innocent Muslims who are trying to live their lives by associating them with terrorists. Second, you endanger everyone else by giving ISIL material to use in propaganda. The United States is not at war with Islam, and we will not impose gestapo policies. Only love can conquer hate. As such, we demand that you immediately and indefinitely suspend any and all campaign activities associated with Trump For President 2016.
Why is this important?
Muslims are being attacked in America on a daily basis due to vitriol and hate after the Paris attacks. We cannot allow politicians or public officials to spread a hateful message without push back. We must demonstrate that only love can conquer hate; we must drown out their hateful messages with statements of love and solidarity for those targeted by racist, xenophobic violence.
