Do not allow the President and Congress to cut or alter Social Security and Medicare. Change the process where Congress allows the SSA to buy treasury bonds or securities so they can use the money to balance the budget. They cash these in before maturity which is a big reason why the fund has lost money, it is our money and we need to stop Congress from having any access to it.
Why is this important?
Congress has access to Social Security funds by allowing the SSA to buy treasury bonds and securities and using our money to balance the budget. Social Security and medicare should not be cut and Congress must be denied access to Social Security funds.
