Don't Privatize Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Shops
The Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Shops generate $500 million annually. These funds help our education system among other vital programs. Along with revenue, 5,000 good-paying jobs are supported by the Wine and Spirits Shops.
Please do not privatize the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirit Shops and sell out the important funds that help our children and schools.
Please do not privatize the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirit Shops and sell out the important funds that help our children and schools.
Why is this important?
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett is once again selling out our children and eliminating much-needed funding for our schools, and risking 5,000 good-paying jobs here in Pennsylvania.
He's already cut billions from education, and now, if he privatizes the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Shops, the $500 million generated annually would disappear. These funds help pay for good quality schools and other necessary programs across the Commonwealth.
Tell him not to sell out our children and to NOT dismantle the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and save 5,000 jobs.
