Don't reduce Social Security
Don't vote for reducing Social Security for seniors by changing to the "Chained CPI" for annual cost-of-living adjustment.
Instead, offer an alternative. Increase the upper limit of the amount of earned income subject to Social Security tax.
Thank you, Rep. Quigley, for your support.

Why is this important?
Obama is willing to reduce the Social Security benefits by changing to a "chained CPI" adjustment instead of using the Consumer Price Index of his own department.
The argument is that this is more "fair". This is an invalid argument and the only intention is to reduce the benefits and give the President some political power to get something from the Republicans. A much better way would be to increase or eliminate the top end limit on Social Security tax.
Obama isn't listening to us. We need to get our word out to our representatives in Congress.
