Do not separate parents and children at the Border who are fleeing violence in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. This is a human rights violation which will force children to suffer additional trauma.
Why is this important?
These families are fleeing violence in their home countries; the parents' primary goal is to protect their children. Separating the parents and children, putting them in different facilities, is cruel and violates all norms of child welfare.
