Don't slash research on Alzheimer’s disease to cut taxes for the rich!

Stop Republican efforts to cut research on Alzheimer’s disease.

The Republican budget proposal in Congress would cut NIH Alzheimer’s disease research to fund tax cuts for the wealthy and big corporations.

Why is this important?

The Republican budget bill in the U.S. Senate would cut the National Institutes of Health by $37 billion over the next decade. This would cut funding for Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and other critical medical research. 80% of the tax cuts in this budget would go to the wealthiest 1% of Americans.
