Let's keep equality and do not take anything away from the LGBT community as citizens of the United States of America. Do not repeal or rescind any LGBT laws, acts, or rights. All Americans will have the same civil rights.
Why is this important?
I have a sister, cousins, other family members, and lots of friends who are in the LGBT community. I have seen the fear in them about the few rights that they have being ripped away from them and becoming second-class citizens in a country that they love. At this point it doesn't matter who you voted for, let's vote for America and keep civil rights for all of our citizens. America was founded by those seeking freedom from persecution and became a haven for those seeking rights and equality. Let's keep it that way.
