Guns don't belong at school, even in the hands of guards and educators. Let's protect our children in other ways, by banning sale of assault weapons and building a more effective mental health system.
Why is this important?
Armed guards at school and armed school personnel would imply that school violence is inevitable. It isn't-- and its only being proposed to protect the political agenda of the NRA. Assault weapons need to be banned NOW.
