Double the budget for NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) this year, with the goal of tripling it (in today's dollars) within ten years.
Why is this important?
This is an investment in science, education, the economy, our nations infrastructure, and good jobs. All the money NASA spends goes towards jobs, education, and economic activity here in the United States. And it is proven that every dollar spent on the space program has a multiplier effect of boosting economic activity of at least eight to one.
