I'm shocked that weeks before the Iowa caucuses the Iowa Democratic Party Chairperson has been replaced by someone who is obviously biased toward one candidate. This newly elected chairperson has been reported by Iowa's own Des Moines Register to have a license plate reading HRC 2016 (source: http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/politics/elections/2014/06/10/hillary-clinton-excruciating/10282229/).

With our Democratic process constantly under siege from those who would seek to hold onto power or use corporate financing to drown out the will of the people, it is more important than ever that we ensure a secure and transparent election process. With that in mind it would seem that someone with an obvious bias toward one candidate must recuse themselves from any responsibilities related to the oversight of the Iowa caucus process in the interest of neutrality. I understand how difficult it will be to find a neutral party in this race, however, it is imperative that we eliminate any and all potential opportunities for corruption to ensure our Democratic process is not coopted by powerful individuals.
