I h ave been studying fish habit for over 5 years. I have seen more fish spawning in places that people have dredge, then I have seen in any other river that I have studied. California was not bright by shutting down mining. They are losing out on the money that is made by mining. also when people dredge it Breaks up gravel and creates salmon beds. What hurts our fish population is all of the fishing guides.
Why is this important?
I am a fish biologist, I do most of my research in mining and fish.
