Drought relief
Here's what legislatures can do to save water and it won't cost anything.
There are two things legislators can do to ease water use during the drought:
1. Permit flushing with "Gray" water.
The building code presently requires toilets to be flushed with potable water.
There is no harm with them using "gray" water full time.
Gray water can come from laundry or bathing facilities.
Please repeal this requirement.
2. Forbid any California municipality to require watering of ornamental gardens.
This is known as The Blight Ordinance.
It is unsafe to water some eatables with Bio-hazard "gray" water.
These are the two largest uses of residential water.
I seek your assistance in getting California through this drought.
