All legislators trusted with doing the people's business will be drug tested monthly and will submit to a Breathalyzer every time they enter the chamber. They will also be searched for alcohol and contraband. No exceptions.
Why is this important?
The people deserve sober, lucid legislators. These individuals have no right to be exempted. Drug testing of citizens applying for benefits and private sector employees should also apply to those proposing this legislation as well.
