Due Dates for Child Support (PA)

Payors of support should have a 5 day window in which to remit their monthly payments to their state collection agency. Example: Last names beginning A,B,C,D & E payments are due on the first of the month but no later than the fifth.

Why is this important?

Currently, a payor can remit on the first of one month & the last day of the next & be within the letter of the law, even though he has effectively skipped a month. Rents, mortgages, credit cards and other billers don't allow us to pay that way, so why does the state?
