Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling should be stripped of his NBA franchise for his racist and over-the-top comments about keeping Black People away from NBA games.
Why is this important?
Donald Sterling was caught on tape telling his girlfriend to refrain from inviting Black People to LA Clippers games. This is not the first time Sterling has been caught out on racist rants, even taking on Magic Johnson is a recent tirade.
Not only are his comments patently offensive, in a league where perhaps more than half of the players are black and most of the big stars are, the comments are moronically stupid. Join me in boycotting anything "Clipper"-Games, TV broadcasts, merchandise or even media stories that do anything other than excoriate Donald for his childish and idiotic behavior. Let us keep the boycott up until Sterling is stripped of the franchise and given rock-bottom dollar for it from the league. Racism has no place in professional sports!
