Donald Trump has personalized the hate many Americans have for anyone different than themselves.
In prior years, they were members or wanna-be members of the KKK, American Nazi Party, generally the "I'm White and You're Not" club that supported slavery, herding Native Americans as if they were cattle, imprisoning Japanese Americans during WW II, letting emigrants die in the deserts of our south west (this is happening right now!). Today, they are members of the Tea Party or Far Right Republican Party. Same beliefs, different organization.
Help expose the fact that America Hates. In general, the rich hate everybody, most Whites (believe me it is most) hate Blacks, Reds, Yellows and Browns. Christians hate Jews and Muslims, we don't know enough about Buddhists to decide yet. It seems everybody hates somebody.
Step out of the stampede. Stop the cycle of hate. Demonstrate to the world that you are willing to publicly Step Up to Love.
Why is this important?
My mother was a Native American. She died still trying to convince those around her that she was a dark skinned white person. While I took after my father and have white skin and green eyes, inside beats the heart of a native.
I cringe every time I see or hear hate in America. Too many people fly Confederate Flags, shoot little girls on highways, sneer at homeless people. I am in awe of people who can swear at a black homeless veteran to get out of their way so they can get to the church in time for cookies and coffee.
