We would like the recently passed e-verify bill amended to allow farmers a chance to opt. out as long as they follow current federal law. Farmers will be unfairly burdened by this bill in present form.
Why is this important?
The e-verify bill needs to be changed to give farmers a chance to opt out if the have all the paperwork required by the federal govt.
