Education as an answer to the obesity epidemic.

Take firm action in developing suitable health programs across all grade levels teaching the value of nutrition and physical exercise. Programs should demonstrate what healthy meals, snacks and portions look like in cafeterias as well as provide qualified teachers to lead children in there education understanding the benefits of nutrition and theirs choices along with giving them insite into the benefits of exercise along with providing students with an active experience.

Why is this important?

It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.
Mahatma Gandhi
If this is true we are in a great depression.
The prevalence of obesity has become more than a noticeable problem in our society and with childhood diabetes on the rise it is time to take action in becoming a healthier society. Americans want government help in paying for medication and subsidizing health care but why not set aside money to help people prevent from having a lot of problems that could easily have been prevented by education.
