the dropout rate in our schools has reached a historically high levels, those who graduate see no future others dropout for various reasons ie.., one of which is lack of interest in the subjects taught in our schools, for example: a horticulturalist find little reason to learn calculus or a machinist, mechanic, artist learn history these are just a few of many others professionals.
I suggest to set an age level to test all pre-high school students and encourage and develop their natural talents to the best of their abilities, focus and teach suitable subjects to help build a successful and a functional as well as productive society.
