Restore the cuts to Texas School Districts.It is estimated that the Rainy Day Fund will have excess of 16 Billion. Do what is fair and right for the children of Texas. They deserve an opportunity for success!
Why is this important?
We have had tremendous cuts as it relates to funding for school districts in Texas. We are asking that the Governor Rick Perry and the Texas Legislature to restore money from the "Rainy Day Fund" to our districts. 4 billion dollars were cut, the fund now has 8.1 billion with the potential of exceeding 16 billion at the end of the current biennium.
Our children deserve a quality education.Give them a chance!
