We need to place an RFID chip in every weapon sold and place sensors at the perimeters of schools and other public places that can detect when a firearm's RFID chip is present. This would set off an alarm and possible save many lives. The technology already exists.
Why is this important?
Gun violence is an intolerable and solvable problem in this country. We can protect our people and at the same time protect the 2nd Amendment by placing RFID chips in weapons. American Passports already utilize these chips.
