Eight to Fix Eight
It took eight years for George W. Bush to lead this country into the worst economic conditions it has known since the Great Depression. George W. Bush's lack of government regulations as well as his decision to wage an unnecessary war in Iraq when we could have captured and killed osama bin laden in the mountains of afghanistan, cost this country greatly in reputation, money, and most of all over 4400 American lives for nothing. No matter what your political ideology, one truth is unequivocally clear to all Americans. It took him and the republicans 8 years to get us in this mess. We can at least give the man who inherited the mess 8 years to dig us out!
Why is this important?
It's time for all americans to stand behind our President during times of war and economic hardship just as republicans, democrats & independents did during the Bush administration. In President Obama's victory speech on election night He said that he might acheive everything in his first term. The President has made historical progress in areas such as; healthcare, finance reform, saving our auto industry, lowering the unemployment rate from almost 10% to 8.2%, keeping the payroll tax credit, women's equality in pay and even Supreme Court appointments.
