Eisenstein: Apologize

Apologize to the students and professors of Purdue University Calumet. We respect your right to free speech, but leave the derogatory mention of students and co-workers out of it.

Why is this important?

Purdue University Calumet is a safe haven for scholarly debate and academic curiosity. However, when students are faced with harassment within the classroom from the professors that are meant to stimulate intellectual dialogue, our education takes a toll. Professor Maurice Eisenstein crossed the line when he began making derogatory comments in the classroom, as well as mentioning students and co-workers by name in a public forum on Facebook. We're calling on him to take it all back, by simply apologizing to his students and co-workers.
