We, the undersigned, recognize the need need a national or state law mandating tow-away zones for the parking spaces adjacent to any charging station or next to any charging station for all vehicles not there for the purpose of recharging their power packs. Also , a standard logo and color scheme should be adopted and mandated to demarcate all such parking spaces.
Why is this important?
Too often I ,like many other Electric Vehicle drivers, arrive at an EV charging station only to find it already occupied by a traditional Internal Combustion Engine powered vehicle. We need a national or state law mandating tow-away zones for the parking spaces adjacent to any charging station or next to any charging station. Also , a standard logo and color scheme should be adopted and mandated to demarcate all such parking spaces. This would be analogous to Handicapped labeled parking.
