We need election reform in three forms. We need limits on spending in order that any person could run for office. What we have now is a plutocracy because only the wealthy can afford to run and they are owned by their contributors. We need term limits to keep new ideas coming in. We also need the ability to recall senators and representatives. Currently we do not have that option.
Why is this important?
Everyone I know regardless of political affiliation is fed up with Washington. No one feels that they are represented. Without reform, we keep electing more of the same and the cycle continues.
