Electoral College
To make each individual vote count in Presidential elections, the Constitution should be amended to abolish the electoral college. Thereby the President and Vice President would be elected directly by winning a majority of the popular vote.
Why is this important?
In recent presidential elections we have seen instances where a candidate who failed to win a majority of the popular vote was elected President because he won the majority of the votes of the electoral college. Based on population, some states or some combination of states mgiht have more electoral college votes than others, and in these instances these states can influence the outcome of the election despite the will of the popular majority.
