Electric suppliers that are not regulated with the Feds or State.
I experienced a bad business practice by Oasis Energy (electric supplier through Duquesne Light) here in Western Pennsylvania.
The Public Utility Commission issues the licenses but only in paper form. We as consumers need to have regulations put in place against variable pricing vs. fixed rates and we need full disclosures when being offered these prices.

Why is this important?
I have been gauged by Oasis Energy (private business). PEOPLE BEWARE. Ask important questions such as a copy of disclosure(s) BEFORE you agree/sign contracts with these particular companies. When telemarketing or knocking at your door, they solicitate tempting rates. They need to be upfront as far as penalties when switching to another supplier offering a better rate. Oasis Energy 12.84 pKwh vs. IGS 6.50 pKwh.
