All healthcare facility must inform all residents being admitted to, or currently residing in a Long-term Care Facility, of the legal right to have a camera placed in their room.
Why is this important?
My Mother lives in a Nursing home in Illinois and I have a camera on her. Residents and Families are not aware of the law that allows them to have electronic monitoring. The abuse and neglect of our elderly needs to stop!
