Eliminate the excessive traffic crashes on Forest Ridge Blvd. in Beverly Hills, FL

To whom it may concern,
As a 5 year Beverly Hills resident, living in close proximity of Forest Ridge Blvd., I have become increasingly concerned for the safety of my family and neighbors due to the excessive traffic crashes (some of which have been fatal) on this road. On nearly a daily basis, I have witnessed vehicles traveling in excess of the speed limit which is currently 45 mph. At times, several vehicles have appeared to be "racing". Additionally, I have witnessed many of the crashes which occurred at various hours of the day and night. Please see my home security camera footage for additional details. In my opinion, as the majority of what Forest Ridge Blvd encompasses is residential homes, the speed limit should reflect the environment. Many of the homes are in close proximity to the road. A crash at a high speed could not only cause injury to vehicle occupants and pedestrians but property damage as well. I have expressed my concerns to various neighbors and often hear similar complaints pertaining to excessive speed in this neighborhood. Parents are anxious to walk their Forest Elementary students to school. My family is also fearful to use the public sidewalk and leery of driving on Forest Ridge Blvd. At this time, my family and I are kindly requesting solutions to make our neighborhood a safer place to be. Suggestions to make this possible may include speed cameras, increased frequency of patrol during busy times, a reduction in the speed limit, additional lighting and/or signage for curves, or possibly speed bumps. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
