Mount Manresa is at risk of being destroyed for housing. The destruction of the environment and trees which have been here for hundreds of years are vital to the community. The community infrastructure cannot handle the overdevelopment planned for the Mount Manresa site.
Eminent Domain can be used for establishing parks and setting aside open space for future generations, preserving places of historic interest and remarkable natural beauty, and protecting environmentally sensitive areas.
